The Things Couples Actually Ask

Straight answers about booking wedding transportation in New Jersey and New York. If yours isn’t here, call or text and ask.

How far in advance should we book our wedding transportation?

As early as you have your venue and ceremony time. Peak Saturdays from late spring through October, plus holiday weekends, are the first dates to go across New Jersey and New York, and couples booking those often reserve nine to twelve months out. That said, it is always worth asking about a shorter timeline — dates open up, and we would rather check than have you assume.

How many hours do we need to book?

It depends on the shape of your day rather than a standard package. The things that drive it are how far apart your getting-ready location, ceremony, and reception are; whether you are doing a first look or photos between ceremony and reception; and whether you want the car for the send-off at the end of the night. Tell us those three things and we will build the hours around them instead of asking you to guess.

Do you serve our venue?

Almost certainly. We cover all of New Jersey and New York — castles and château estates, North Jersey ballrooms, Hudson waterfront rooms, Manhattan landmarks, Long Island mansions, and Hudson Valley estates. Name your venue when you get in touch and we will tell you straight away whether we know it well or need to go and look at the approach first.

What kinds of vehicles do you offer?

Classic and vintage-style cars for the arrival photograph, luxury sedans and SUVs for smaller groups, and stretch limousines and party buses when the whole bridal party rides together. We also arrange guest and hotel shuttles. Because the right vehicle depends on your venue’s approach and your party size, we match it to your day rather than selling a fixed package.

Can you provide shuttles for our guests?

Yes. Guest shuttles running between hotel blocks, the ceremony, and the reception are one of the most common things couples underestimate, especially at venues with limited parking or a long approach drive. We plan the loop and the timing so it runs quietly in the background all night.

What happens if the wedding runs late?

Weddings run late. We plan for it — routes are built with real buffers rather than best-case drive times, and your chauffeur stays in contact with your planner or coordinator through the day. If the schedule slips, we adjust rather than leaving. Any additional time beyond what you reserved is handled the way your booking confirmation sets out, so there are no surprises on the night.

Do you decorate the car?

On request. Ribbon and florals on the classic cars are the usual ask, and we are happy to coordinate with your florist so the colours actually match. Every vehicle we book is detailed inside and out before the event regardless — your photographer will be shooting it whether you decorate it or not.

Is gratuity included?

Ask when you book — we will tell you plainly whether gratuity is built into your quote or left to your discretion, and it will be stated on your booking confirmation either way. We would rather you know up front than work it out at the end of the night.

What do you need from us to hold a date?

Your date, your venue or venues, roughly how many people need transport, and a contact number. That is enough for us to check availability and tell you what is possible. Deposit and payment terms are confirmed in writing before anything is final — nothing is locked in on a phone call alone.

Do you travel outside New Jersey and New York?

Often, yes. Destination weddings in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and further up the Hudson Valley come up regularly. Tell us where you are getting married and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit or whether you would be better served locally.

How much does wedding transportation cost?

Hourly bookings are typically a minimum of 5 hours. Wedding transportation is customized and quoted based on your unique itinerary, venue, timeline, guest count, and overall logistics. Once your plan is finalized you’ll receive a detailed written proposal outlining your selected vehicles, services, and pricing. A signed contract and a 50% deposit secure your reservation, with the balance due two weeks prior to your event.

Can you coordinate between the hotel, ceremony, and reception?

Yes, and it is usually the part that needs the most planning. We build one timeline covering the getting-ready location, the ceremony, photo stops, and the reception, then run guest shuttles as repeating loops against that same schedule. Multiple pickup locations are normal on a wedding day and are priced into the plan rather than treated as extras.

Will Tina be driving us?

No. Tina is the wedding transportation concierge — she plans your day, recommends the vehicles, builds the timeline, and is your point of contact throughout. The driving is done by professional chauffeurs, formally dressed and briefed on your venue's layout before your wedding day. You deal with one person for the planning, and a professional at the wheel on the day.

Who will we actually be dealing with?

Tina — from the first call through to the wedding day itself. To be clear about roles: Tina is your transportation concierge, not your driver. She plans the day, matches the vehicles, builds the timeline, and stays reachable throughout; the driving is done by professional chauffeurs who are briefed on your venue and your schedule before they arrive. What you will not get is being handed between a salesperson, a dispatcher, and a driver who has never heard of your wedding.
